SMART

Research collaborations and partnerships

smart-austin-texas

SMART provides many ways for researchers from academia, industry and other government laboratories to get involved with the Facility.

Alex Zelinksy

“ In the future, infrastructure will be able to monitor, support and predict the future’s needs, thereby allowing for more effective management of precious resources such as water and energy and design of effective buildings and urban networks for communications and transport. The forward leaning SMART will play a key role in this.”

Dr Alex Zelinsky - Group Executive, CSIRO Information Sciences and SMART Advisory Council member

SMART actively engages with other researchers by:

  • entering into collaborative research partnerships with other organisations
  • inviting researchers to work with SMART staff
  • welcoming other researchers to use SMART facilities for collaborative or proprietary research
  • hosting industry seminars, courses and events
